ADAC F4 ready with 2018 calendar

The German ADAC Formula 4 Series are ready with their 2018 calendar.

As tradition dictates, the season will start in Oschersleben in April, while the season finishes off at Hockenheim.

The series wants to visit all the permanent German tracks, but that means that they can stick to being support series for ADAC GT Masters only. The ADAC GT Masters have chosen not to run at Lausitzring in 2018, so the single-seater series had to do something else.

The second round of next year’s ADAC Formula 4 Championship will be run at Hockenheim, during the opening weekend of DTM, while the third round will be run at the Lausitzring 14 days later.

From that point onwards, they will stick to the ADAC GT Masters for the rest of the year, on a tour to Red Bull Ring, Nürburgring, Sachsenring, before the season finale at Hockenheim.

The calendar will give a minimum of transportation costs for the teams, with all races within a 400 kilometres radius of Stuttgart.

Only a few drivers has officially given news about their programmes, but as soon as there is more, we will report it here.
